Refused to come on as sub.

Then walked out of the stadium before the game finshed.

You stay classy Cristiano!

No-one's bigger than the club unless of course you're a narcissistic , over entitled  twat that cant be arsed kicking a ball about for 10 minutes in return for obscene amounts of dosh whilst half the country can't afford to turn the heating on.

Predict he’ll go back to Sporting Lisbon very soon. None of the clubs in Europe that can afford him will go anywhere near him now I think. And Saudi clubs or whatever that have the money but arent relevant from a footballing perspective wont be a solution that will feed his ego.

Going back to Sporting as his ‘boyhood club’ or whatever may be the only move he can make without losing face.

Hopefully nobody wants him in January so this circus continues until June.

I was looking at Portugal’s anticipated World Cup squad / 11 the other night. Like the mancs, their biggest weakness is Ronaldo.

I don’t understand why they wouldn’t just cancel his contract. He’s a pain in the arse and he’s more trouble than good, the manager doesn’t want him and you can’t rely on him when you need him. Just pull the plug.

He been dropped from the squad for the Chelsea game.

400k a week pantomime.

The disappointing thing is his absence improves them. Ten Hag has played this one well, I’m sure he can’t wait to be rid of him.

I’m going to sound naive maybe, but why the hell has Ronaldo done this?

He's trying to force a move. Word is he wanted out as soon as they failed to qualify for the CL. He won't beat Messi on Ballon d'Ors, but he's out front on CL goals and he wants that record to stand. If he doesn't play in the competition again, Messi will probably overtake him before they both retire.

It's a bizzare move!

His form on the field and his tantrums off it won't help him get a move?

Even if United rip up his contract now I can't see him getting any good offers.

If Ronaldo had done this in the summer he probably would have had most of the fans onside, but he's completely lost them now!

He's done well to make himself look like a bigger cunt than Piers Morgan!

Hmm.... I reckon he could have beheaded a baby penguin in that interview and still couldn't be a bigger cunt than Morgan. He's still a huge cunt though.

They also want to bin bag Maguire in the summer. The only club stupid enough to buy him and pay his ridiculous wage would be whoever Southgate manages after he gets the arse from the England job. Any club demented enough to hire Southgate (I select players in form, playing regularly for their clubs), they be silly enough to buy Maguire. Southgate will be available from 30 th November.

When he returned at the start of last season what were his expectations?  A team that hadn't seriously challenged for the title for 11 years.  4 managers since Fergie retired.  No CL for a good few years.  Hammered by Liverpool and City dropping points against 'shit' teams and managed by the YTS lad who won a competition to be manager for a game and somehow lasted two (?) years?

Seriously what attracted him to return??? (Rhetorical que$tion).

aside from the money I think he genuinely thought he could re-ignite the club by his sheer presence. He thinks he’s that good.

I actually reckon this whole episode is a shame as they may cancel his contract for January and his negative impact on the dressing room might be gone. Ideally we need him to carry on undermining the manager.
