Its all for bastards.

Banoffe Pie and Double cream or Sticky Toffee Pudding and Custard is where its at.

There should probably be a register for those that like Banana in their desserts

Birds Eye made arctic roll when I was a kid, although more often than not we had a supermarket own brand version.

I didn’t notice the raspberry bit when I posted that picture, as it was about 1 o’clock in the morning and I was tired.

This is is the one I remember:

Seems they did a plum version as well. Great advert.

Tony knows.

Again.

Used to love these as well. Own brand version day to day, Birds Eye on special occasions.

I honestly never realised Birds Eye did desserts. What a revelation.

I can imagine 'Arry Redknapp advertising Birds Eye Supermousse.

Never had Romantica. Wouldn't have known what it was until I saw the picture and vaguely remembered it. Viennetta was the epitamy of posh ice cream back in the 80s, when Gino Ginnelli was the 'cool' option and Wall's Soft Scoop was for the hoi polloi.

Nah, homemade beats shop bought hands down.

Sticky toffee pudding is nice, though.

Top 3 hot

Apple pie and custard

Rhubarb crumble and custard

Spotted DIck and custard

Top 3 cold

Tiramisu

Triffle

Lemon tart (Tart au citron)

I’m not counting ice cream (an accompaniment to other desserts) and cakes, such as doughnuts, carrot cake, etc. (which are snacks, in my opinion).
