Chambers is a defensive midfielder first and foremost and it's his best position, he can play RB, wonder what's Wenger's plan with him

 

I read the other week Wenger's plan is for the protomidget Wilshere to play defensive mid, so I hope very much that hasn't changed.

Wilshere as defensive midfielder? Well that will be fun. He's soft (well he thinks he's tough tho) and couldn't tackle a zombie. I think it'll be Chambers-Ramsey-Wilshere with Ozil, Sanchez, Ox and Walcott fluid front 4. Lethal. And then u have Cazorla & Giroud on the bench and there are some rumours they want Roberto Firmino too.

Falcao or Hulk would be decent, but FSG would never want to pay their wages and in Ayre's distorted fake scouser view they don't appear to have resale value, so forget about it.

 

We'll start the season in the Premier League and the Champions league with Sturridge, Borini, Lambert.

Joking apart I was speaking to lad at the weekend that thought it would be a good idea and Rodgers could get him playing again. It was a short conversation.

 

If anyone could get him playing again it would be Gerrard. But when I think of the way he just sulked around, I wouldn't want him back. I wouldn't put anything past us in this transfer window though.
