I love rafa but he went fucking mad. starting with buying keane for 20m and then selling him 4 months later for just over half that and then buying a player no one had ever heard of to replace one of the best midfielders we've ever had. If I`m going to be honest I think a few people are overplaying the feeling after the win in Istanbul.

 

Was it that much better than in Dortmund, was it that much better than Cardiff etc, for those of us old enough to appreciate league wins and other European Cups whats the difference.

 

Personally I was just as happy after both Dortmund and Cardiff and I celebrated just as much.

 

To be honest when I woke up the day after Istanbul I did not remember much of the game anyway and in no way did I feel it as some life changing moment.

Why is it necessary to bring up that 9 out of the 11 played for GH? The fact is, Rafa did what GH couldn't. You try and paint that in a bad light.
