I have seen many of you reckon that Everton will not be relegated because there are at least 3 teams which are totally abysmal.

I don’t watch any other PL football than Liverpool so I don’t know.

OK the table at the l moment is telling there are really some dross at the bottom of the league, but ….

…You can never dismiss the psychological consequences of what’s going on right now. That may spur a stronger sense of reliance for the Toffes but it can also put them down. It could also give new hope to the previous bottom four.

Everton may also have to sell players in January.

So let us see what the table looks like in 6 weeks and we shall have a better insight into Everton’s fate.

Exactly there is way too much defeatism around here. Believe in the flush.

That's what I like to see; a bit of fight and optimism. I know they have been on a terrifying run of 3 league wins in 5 games but they can still Everton their way out of this form, as they are Everton and have a history of being Everton.

They are just a couple injuries away from having to field some absolute shite as well. Everton, aren't we, as they'd say.

How on earth can Everton claim corruption when an independent panel found them guilty of cheating. This aint a case of getting done for  crime they didn't commit, they are guilty as fuck and have paid a far smaller price than they deserve. They have some fucking balls calling us victims.

It's quite incredible stuff, particularly as part of their 'defence' was that they didn't get a massively over-inflated naming rights fee from a sanctioned Russian gangster, and astonishingly, other players in the market didn't jump at the chance to replace him as sponsor.

I love the idea that they're being "singled out" (as if every club does what they did).

What exactly do they mean "we're coming for you"? I'm guessing it's supposed to sound sinister, but it sounds like someone chasing their infant kids for a laugh.

The club actually admitted they'd breached the rules and just disagreed by how much and wanted some leniency because of mitigating circumstances. And they got no leniency because with their continued buying of players despite warnings the PL thought they were taking the piss. Their guilt is not in doubt, not even by their own club.

They're absolutely fucking thick aren't they.

Either that or they just blatantly ignore things to suit their own narrative.

I think the club have played them. The club have clearly fucked up. And rather than confirm what the Everton fans have said for the last year or two about the previous board and current ownership, they've issued a statement of mock outrage that the fans have swallowed. If their fanbase took time to digest and understand the findings, more of their anger would be directed at those running and owning the football club instead of the mythical bogeyman at the Premier League.

It's exactly what they did for the Super League. Knowing it involved us they ramped up the outrage.

Instead of wondering why they never got included when they were one of the 5 clubs who pushed for the PL.

Yup, agreed, we do not know how the players and coaching staff are going to react. Can they spend any money in Jan to buy players? A few of the players might already be in touch with their agents too about leaving in Jan.

Their fixtures leading up to Xmas:

United home

Forest away

Newcastle home

Chelsea home

Burnley away

Fulham home

Spurs away

Then they play City on the 27th. If they get 8-10 points from these fixtures, I reckon they will be fine. If they get less than 6 then I think they are fucked.

Sadly they will be fine...the others sides down there are just so, so bad.

The shite are about a 40 points side - take off the 10 and you are looking at 30...a total that will this season be enough to survive.

Burnley, Sheff Utd and Luton have 4, 5 and 6 points respectively from 12 games played.

They’re having real difficulty understanding how a King’s Counsel who represented Leeds in one case 16 years ago is a) not employed by Leeds, and b) does not have a conflict of interest representing the PL now.

It must be difficult constructing elaborate conspiracy theories while avoiding the use of red string.
