Fuck SSN.

Amen to that. Apologies Dave, should've known better!

About bloody time.

If these lot can't get themselves up and together under Kenny then they can fuck off with Hodgson.

News was Kenny was on holiday and not back till the middle of next week.

Seems that was bullshit he's probably been in dialogue with the owners and Commoli about who stays and goes form the playing and coaching staff since last week.

The short term will be bitter-sweet - for example, if Torres and Co suddenly start playing well, it'll confirm that they've been taking the piss for the past few months - but hopefully great as the season goes on. And Ginsoak suddenly has one manager in the league who will treat him as the creep he really is.

1)Sayonara to the asset strippers willing lackey. Shut the door on your way out. You won't be missed.

2)Kenny, ok if its caretaker manager only, so Rafa has a break til the end of the season.

Anyone who thinks he can be a permanent manager knows absolutely ZERO about football. He's done nothing in management since the early mid NINETIES.

And had a break of 11/12 years after that.

Anyone who believes otherwise is being played.

That'll do VERY nicely!

I also echo the view that this appointment should have been made last summer. We would have avoided the Roy-as-lame-duck scenario for one thing. There's no certainty that results would have been better than they have been. How would we know for sure, despite the overwhelming sentiment? What we would certainly have had is universal backing of the manager by the fans, even if the agreement last summer was for Kenny to steady the ship for one season only.

That idiot on SSN said: 'Liverpool is known as the home of the working man, but the fans wanted to see a man lose his job'. Incredible!

I know, what a load of bollocks! As if an ordinary working man can be compared to a multi-millionaire who's failing on a multi-million pound contract.

Probably the most ridiculous criticism I've seen so far. No doubt there will be worse to come though.

Anyway, fuck 'em.

Rafa's gone.

We all need to get over it.

Although, to be fair, I think you're just trolling.

Hodgson leaves Liverpool FC

Henry added: "We are delighted that Kenny Dalglish has agreed to step in and manage the team for Sunday's FA Cup tie at Old Trafford and for the remainder of the season.

"Kenny was not just a legendary footballer, he was the third of our three most successful managers - three giants. We are extraordinarily fortunate and grateful that he has decided to step in during the middle of this season."

Hmm Paisley, Rafa, Fagan, Shankly, Dalglish...

So how's KD at number 3? Is he saying Fagan or Shankly were a level down?

what is it you think Kenny will have lost from not having been a manager for the last decade?

As soon as Kenny said that he wanted the job in the Summer, he should have been given it.

The only concern I had prior to him throwing his hat into the ring was that he didn't want it, but would 'do it' if approached. As soon as he said he wanted it, then that was the only factor against it washed away.

Now, I know we will all be 100% behind Kenny, come what may, so let's strap ourselves in for the ride, stop the cuntery and one eyed agendas and get back to focussing on what is important, and that goes for all of us.
