(Except, maybe, the way the twat doesn't even look at his kid when he's trying to swat her out of the way.)

I thought that, but when I watched it again, he is actually smiling and it isn't as harsh as first appeared. Fucking brilliant clip like.

That clip goes from 'meh' to gold the moment the second kid rolls in like a boss, with the mother/nanny steaming into the room in a panic.

It's the nanny's cartoon skid into the room that makes it. Not so sure about the bit where she drags the kid in yellow out by ripping her arm out of its socket.

Berlin in July 1945.

 

 

Brilliant film but do you know what annoys me about this? An awful lot of their partially damaged buildings were repaired due to American investment after the war.

 

The yanks though took every debt penny they could off us and so every building in a similar state in Britain (outside London) was demolished. See the old Customs House for an instance. Winning whilst losing.
