£1m dilemma

Chris Bascombe in the NOTW: -........"Meanwhile, Rafa Benitez will urge his side to do their bit to improve his transfer kitty by as much as £5m by securing a top-two finish.

The difference between finishing second and third in the Premier League can make a huge financial difference - perhaps even enough for an extra signing."

On a related issue, nice to see Keane having another pop at Rafa yesterday - saying it was good that he finished the season playing for "a manager whom you can understand" and who "doesn't just pick his favourites" [like Torres, and Gerrard, presumably?]. It was like a bad dream when we signed him last summer...

From what i got wind of the keane deal when it was done,

we get £1m more if spurs qualify for any European competition.

and we play them next week, a game which they need three points in to claim europe.

:wallbutt:

They lucky fucks beats us in the league.

They humiliated us in the Carling cup.

Harry Redknapp is a twat.

Denying them Europe would be little sweet payback.
