Lizarazu and Thuram were both attacking weren't they?

 

Only as much as the system or their ability allowed.

 

Thuram was more than capable of going forward and crossing the ball when he could but his job was very different to Lizarazu's, he was the type of player Rafa is looking for now at fullback.

 

Carragher can also go forward and put in a decent cross now and then, it's not his ideal position but when needs must, and considering 'the bolton way' as someone else has said, it makes sense to put him out their.

This is a really open game so far.

 

I can see us scoring about 4 goals but also maybe conceding 3!

 

That save from Reina was awesome. The formation looks good apart from the Carragher element.

 

We look all at sea at the back because Carra isn't in the middle marshalling things. I'd have Carra in the middle and Arbeloa at right back and we'd fucking destroy these.
