Watched First Blood for the first time in years last night and have to admit that it was fucking ace, not some kind of gore-fest but actually pretty moving at the end where he's talking about being spat at when he returned from Nam and feeling like he was useless and shit.

 

I said on another thread that Stallone was the best shit actor around, but he aint - the guy's got layers!

First Blood is a top draw film and in many respects very believable, especially for a Stallone film.

Stallone was on Jonathan Ross and apparently there are something like 263 deaths in the new film, an average of one every 25 seconds.

First blood is proper ace. You actually spend the whole film imagining you're rambo and fantasising about killing wild pigs with a sharp stick. Proper boys own stuff.
