Maybe it was because Diao is used to playing against Auxerre.Or maybe it is the financial aspect. Either way, Didi was great when we needed to play like that, and its difficult to imagine us without him, but Diao is much more attack-minded (though he gets back and defends well too), is younger, and IMO is the way forward for us.

I said on here a while back that GH wants to get rid of Didi. If he goes, its because GH wants him out. It has nothing to do with the player, who loves it here, has just bought a house and would happily sign a new contract to stay here. Talk of him being unsettled is way off, although it would suit Gerard if people felt that was the case, as it would make it easier to get rid of him.

 

Didi doesnt want to leave, but the decision may be out of his hands.
