Once again the much maligned Liverpool FC Chief Executive Rick Parry has pulled off the coup of the football world with the proposed takeover of Liverpool Football Club by the Dubai International Corporation (DIC). If this deal is successfully concluded, it will bring LFC untold riches and make them without a shadow of a doubt the richest Football Club on the planet.

This is the second major masterstroke that Rick Parry and Chairman David Moores have completed after the acquirement of what many people consider the most tactically astute coach in europe 29 months ago in Rafael Benitez.

 

Hopefully, the powers-that-be at Dubai International Corporation realise the expertise of Parry and allow him to continue his position as Chief Executive and also David Moores to remain on the board as honourary president as a thank you for the many years of hard work on behalf of Liverpool FC.

I don't want us to go from the way we are now to suddenly the worlds richest club.

 

Pay for the stadium and we should have an extra 15 million a season to spend on players. That would do me nicely.

We could build a temporary stadium, use it until Anfield is rebuilt, then move back. We could donate the temporary stadium to the blueshite. They'd love that.
