Reds 2 vs 0 Stoke

Just got in from watching the under 18s play against Stoke and they won 2-0, firstly a well won penalty from Idrizaj which was converted nicely by Adam Hammill followed by a superbly struck goal from Miki Roque, Antwi had a superb game also, nice to see that not only are all the reserve lads looking outstanding at reserve level but at their own age level are looking a totally different class, understandable why Rafa has brought them in cuz with the correct nurturing they will be quality reds for the future!

Excellent news. The Youth Cup squad looks to be taking shape nicely. Gutted I couldn't go myself due to a fucking exam. Exams suck.

i live in Belfast so i dont get to any of the reserve/under 18 games...but from what i have heard and seen (on the e season ticket on the official website) they are doing superb...wouldn't mind going over for a week to see a reserve game and a home game at anfield!

Yea i have been doing my exams all this week and for the past two weeks...but they finished this morning so everything is looking good! :party:

I no great news, adam hammill looks quality and i think it was Ryan and Flinn centre mids who just looked quality, well its the fa youth cup at anfield on 17th with a few quality reserve lads playing init so would be a good game to watch!

Can you post the full team on here? Be interesting to see how many of Paco's lads are gonna be in the youth cup.

 

Godwin and Miki have to play, they're outstanding and the 18's are short on centre halves anyway.

We have Ipswich in the youth cup if we get past Cardiff. They'll be a test, they beat us 3-2 at the start of the season and won the cup last year. Many of that side are still eligible for this season too.

We were unlucky that day though, it could have gone either way from what I remember (there's a report on the game on the site but I can't be arsed looking it up!).

 

Are we at home? (We will get past Cardiff as ain't no u18 team gonna get past Miki and Godwin)
