Today's Daily Express - article by MATTHEW DUNN entitled "Benitez wants to see Cisse backlash".

 

"Rafa Benitez has put Djibril Cisse back in the squad against Wigan today and fully expects him to prove he was wrong to drop him in midweek.

 

The Liverpool manager spoke to Cisse after his team's Carling Cup win at Sunderland, where they secured a place in the last eight despite leaving the French striker on Merseyside................."

 

So there you go. We aren't second after all BUT we are in the last 8 if the Carling Cup. Wonder when the draw is?

Unbelievable. How the fuck do these chancers manage it? There are at least ten forumites on here who are better writers - never mind more knowledgable about the game - than many of the so-called professionals.
