Strasbourg are considering a January move for Boca Juniors' 19-year-old Argentina youth international left-back Valentin Barco, who is also a target for Chelsea.

I’d go and get the transfer nerds back that brought in hit after hit at the start of klopps reign before giving them any more money to blow on more shite.

 

Blowing nearly £200 million on jota, Gakpo, Diaz and Nunez who all play as left sided forwards was insane.

Think we look at a left sided CB who could cover in January. There talk Timo Werner might be available on loan. Don't see it happening and his forms gone to shit since Chelsea. But if we are not looking to invest wonder if we would look at a loan deal, obviously got a good relationship with the Red Bull lot. Nothing to lose really and would give us some cover for Mo during AFCON and a chance to make changes when the Europa restarts. Doak/Gordon are nowhere near ready to contribute. Not many teams will want to sell in January unless they're skint. The Norwegian winger Nusa looks good but doubt he's ready yet

2) Wondering if we might look to get another forward in. And we won't spend big if we do till Salah leaves. Werner was a target, his stock has gone down and is possible available on a loan deal. Just thinking would we have a look at him as a squad player to help cover till the summer

Toney would be great. Would give us something we don't have, and he makes the ball stick up top.  Looks like Arsenal want him and he's pushing for that. Though if we were going to spend that i think Klopp would push for Bowen, hes 6 months younger aswell and both are 27 so the owners probably wouldnt. Would be nice for owners that see potential titles and cups and strengthen for them mid season instead of only moving for players when they know others on there way out

Murillo at Forest looks good, he's one of those 21 year olds that look 32. Forest paid €12m in the summer, he'll be the type that goes for 90m at the end of next season or eat himself to death over Christmas.

Yeah, while I think he'd make a good summer signing for a top team im not sure a player coming off the back of 8 months of no football and needing time to work back to match sharpness is really the best way to go.

 

Also think Brentford will be extremely keen to hold on to him until summer given Mbuembo supposedly being out for 12 weeks, hes contracted until summer 2025 so they arent in a position of needing to let him go just yet.
