Strange half we controlled the game should have scored a couple. But lucky not to concede a couple as well.
Big save by Alison against vardy.

Starting to dislike Thiago now trying stupid turns and flicks and just losing the ball and putting us under pressure.

Very good first half hour, except that we dont create enough clear cut chances and dont score.

After that we somewhat dropped in intensity and let them into the game. Main problem is we dont look like scoring.

And what is it, 8 corners, and we never looked like scoring from one of them. That is a major issue.

Trent and Bobby have played well in my opinion, and obviously Alisson. Mane and Salah hot and cold, expect more from them. Thiago, which I have defended on here, has been poor today.

Henderson in general plays well, but on two occasions showed he isn’t a CB and that very nearly cost us.

Kabak, too early to tell, and I fully expect him to need time ti adapt. Time we dont have.

Not the worst of halves. But, no goal. We need to be more productive in front of goal.

Kabak has looked alright. Curtis Jones is doing lots of unnoticed stuff in midfield, drawing 2 or 3 players around him, getting out of tight gaps having created space for overlapping full backs.

But...

Jota can't come back soon enough. Firmino has been poor, again. Heavy touches and poor passes have caused a good few attacks to die. And, Thiago. He's been a bit of a head scratcher do far. The quality is there to see, but he's just not doing enough. It all seems a bit too fast and hectic for him. And he needs to nark it with the pirouettes that typically end with him losing possession. Lallana didn't get away with that shit. Neither should Thiago.

Started very well but couldn't capitalise. Leicester look like they have figured out the pattern of the game in the last 15.

Hendo's accurate long passing is something we've missed at the back since VVD but both centre backs are struggling with Vardys movement.

Game could go either way.

Didn't notice it during the game but after watching all those leciester chances, Kabak was a bit cack

Considering the pace they have, only really City and Utd would be tougher debuts for a centre back. Made a few mistakes, needs to just focus and stick in position. No need to do a Dejan and play too much on the front foot.

Thiago is now clearly trying too hard probably as a result of various knobheads haveing a go at him playing it safe and slow etc.  He put us in trouble quite a few times there.  To say you’re starting to get sick of him because he’s done it this game is hysterical though.

Kabak has done alright.  If they scored after he slipped though that would have been the end of his career here or completely not his fault depending on what agenda you’re running.

We’ve looked better in this game because Mane and Salah have stayed wide and both tried to run at the full backs and get to the byline.  It’s created the chances and the space so far.  We just need to keep on doing it.

There's a difference between playing it safe and failing a Cryuff turn in his own half at 0-0

There's not a chance in hell we're getting a decision from Taylor, so our attackers just need to stay on their feet.

Thought our energy levels were clearly up, especially from our full backs and Bobby. Gave us a couple of early fastbreaks that we failed to capitalise on.

Need to continue our pressing and get an earlyish goal, I think the floodgates will open.
