Clothing brands that you rarely see anymore

Recommended Posts

There was quite a few I remember.

Leopard was one, always shellsuits, always shite.

Another brand, but I can't remember exactly the name, something like SFX or La King's. Always big purple stripes or something equally hideous.

I badly wanted one of the trackies when I was a young lad but my dad claimed, and I quote.

"you're not getting that, that's protestant clothing if ever I saw it"

He's a funny one my old man......

SPX? They were out around the time of British Knights and Troop.

Reminds me, I had a pair of Troop Cobra.

I'll always remember being in Tonys chippy in Kenny when a woman came in with shell suit bottoms on brown socks and white high heels. I was a scruff and didn't care about fashion when I was that young but even I looked at her and thought this is really wrong, like really really wrong.

Yeah, that's them, SPX and British Knights. My god where they awful.

Still can't see how my dad reckons they where a predominantly protestant brand though.....................
