Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted that UTD were unlucky during their Europa League semi-final defeat to Sevilla on Sunday. The Norwegian believes that a lack of penalties cost his side.

Peno

“How do you mean?” said the former striker, when asked if his team might have scored from open play. “You mean a non-penalty? No, no. That’s not what we do. Maybe that works for other clubs, but our game is based on penalties, to be fair.”

“A goal from open play is something we aspire to,” added Solskjaer. “I saw Burnley score one the other week and it was good. Perhaps if we sign some quality this summer, that could be us.”
