I saw the story about Sunderland's Darron Gibson being done for drink driving after crashing into and writing off 4 cars. He's probably got more points on his licence than Sunderland have managed all season.

Seen the pictures earlier on twitter, what a fucking prick that guy is. Someone tweeted from the street that he’d been doing close to 70mph in a 30mph street. The state of the cars he damaged suggests that would have been accurate, he’s clearly got an alcohol problem, he’s already been banned for 2 years I think for drink driving and that incident last year when he crashed a wedding to get a drink, yesterday was on the morning of a game, I know he’s out injured at the moment but fuck me the last thing they need when they need to concentrate on getting points is to hear their teammate was involved in a serious drink driving crash. I’m surprised that there was no serious injury involved.

 

On a side note, is it me but are all the players in recent times that have had a few alcohol related incidents all spend large chunks of the season out injured. Gibson, Carroll, Wilshere being a few.
