What midfield? We play 5-1-4, trying to get the ball to one of the 4 attackers, who run at their defenders. Luckily WBA are crap. Counter attack for the rest of the season?

Can't play it against sides that defend deep. We have the speed but it's important when we do build up the play Coutinho picks out the pass, hasn't really done that today.

suarez will always put balls across goal whether hes shooting or deliberately crossing.

sturridge has the instinct to be in the right place to capitalise.

remember in kennys first full season carroll or no one else where ever in the right place.

Gerrard's playing well, but he's playing almost between Toure and Skrtel, so Henderson is the only pass on for the defenders in midfield. Stevie needs to be 10 yards further forward and be a defense minded midfielder rather than a 3rd centreback.

Sterling is scaring them to death, looks really lively. He's definitely got his mojo back.

Oh and while I don't like to see players get injured, if it has to happen, Olsen would be pretty close to the top of my list of people to get injured.

hes doing exactly what lucas does when he plays. he ll always drop in between the cbs when they go to the corners of 18 yd to get ball from keeper. hes playing a role in the team not the steven gerrard role.
