We need to improve our attacking play in midfield. We're making it too easy for them to shut down our defenders and force them to hoof it. We've also had too many breaks against us when trying to play from the back.

 

In short, we need a big improvement from our midfield in the 2nd half.

Gerrard's playing well, but he's playing almost between Toure and Skrtel, so Henderson is the only pass on for the defenders in midfield. Stevie needs to be 10 yards further forward and be a defense minded midfielder rather than a 3rd centreback.

Sterling is scaring them to death, looks really lively. He's definitely got his mojo back.

Oh and while I don't like to see players get injured, if it has to happen, Olsen would be pretty close to the top of my list of people to get injured.

Coutinho though is really not playing well. Kolo should not bring the ball out of defence again. Henderdons work rate is spot on but he gave the ball away too easily at times.

 

Need another goal here.
