I watched Marley last night and haven't been able to get his songs out my head all night and morning. 

 

What an absolute legend, a genuine decent person with a political message. He has to be one of the most influential musicians and people of all time. 

 

Any Bob fans?

Can't beat a bit of Bob. Likes his doughnuts wi' jam in.

 

Huge respect for Reggae musicians, because although it might sound simple, but its one of the hardest styles to play right because its based in feel rather than technical ability. Its all about the riddim, and riddim can only be taught to a certain extent. You've either got it or you ain't. And them Wailers had it.

So I watched Marley and Me. What the fuck was that? No reggae, just some kids and a stupid fucking dog. Don't see what all the hype is about.

 

I know what you mean. Somebody once recommended me a film with Marley in it, and it was just all about some cunt getting visited by ghosts on christmas eve. Not a bit of reggae or ganja to be seen.

What would you recommend listening too?

 

Hmm...the album of his name is possibly the best for me. Hard Road to Travel and Struggling Man are also pretty ace.

 

I'll post a few songs, probably easier. You'll have heard some of these, I'm sure of it.

Watched the film on a flight last year - stayed with me for ages. 

 

Inspirational guy and wore an Adidas tracksuit top with distinction, which can never be underestimated.
