Gerrard won't be playing he isn't training.

 

The LFCglobe guy - who is very reliable says he misses:

 

Gerrard will be out of action for 4-6 weeks. Will definitely miss Swansea (H), Chelsea (A x2), Man City (H), Fulham (A), QPR (H).

With the 2 Mancs and Arse winning yesterday we desperately need to win this one to keep the pressure up on those CL places. I think we will win, Kenny will use the Suarez situation and the press coverage of it etc to galvanise the team and get them fired up. They should be well up for it and I expect some of the new boys to put in a belter shift and stick two fingers up to all the "fans" who havent got behind them.

I really like the look of that line up.

 

As long as Adam doesn't get exposed defensively - we can really hurt Chelsea and I think Dalglish was right not to start Carragher the way Skrtel / Agger have been playing. I also think Maxi and Bellamy both deserve starts.

 

Plus Carroll doesn't have the pace or skill to hurt Chelsea who will push up high. Suarez and Bellamy do.

 

Great selection Kenny.

I like it, even though Carra isn't in it. Nice to see Bellamy start and not Carroll, I think that increases our chances.

I still don't like the Lucas adam partnership we need another man in midfield with them pair. Happy that Bellamy and maxi get a chance.

Interesting selection that.

 

Good to see Kuyt in the team and Henderson on the bench. Need real fighters in this game. Also good to see Maxi back in, as I fancy him getting a goal today.

 

I'm a bit reserved about having two strikers though - might be smarter to play 4-5-1 today.

 

I'm nervous as fuck for this game. Hate meeting the "top" clubs. But I hope we're doing what we usually do; play well vs top teams. I fancy us winning 2-1 today.
