I paid it anyway, bit the bullet last night. Got wildly violated in Wake Island and there are a few bugs I've witnessed so far such as starting games of Conquest with my team having all three bases but having a quarter of lives less than the other team.

 

However, it's good. But people know the drill and I don't yet, hence me having the online version of a shotgun stuck up my hoop on regular occasions.

I think it's supposed to be like that, one team starts holding all the bases but has less tickets.

 

Is it me or are the maps in B2K more destructible. Everything seems to blow up/collapse in these new maps, not sure I remember the others being like that.

 

I am rubbish too. Getting some better weapons helps a bit though.

Looks to be just the standard edition, so you'd probably have to buy B2K from Origin, PSN or XBL.

Really loving this game. I'm gonna sell MW3 I think as I enjoy this much better. Even happier now I've got the Karkland expansion as I played BF2 to death on the PC and loved the maps.

 

I don't really enjoy MW3 as it seems quite a lonely experience, even the team games seem to require no teamwork at all whereas BF depends on it and rewards you for it.

 

I'm actually pretty good at this game too whereas I was dogshit at MW3. Got it on Christmas Eve and Level 14 now with a K/D ratio of 2:1. Handing out some serious beatings as support class with nice light machine gun or shotgun depending on whether the map is mostly short or mid/long distance combat.

Bought this on Chrimbo eve. Just going throught the campaign first. Some proper good missions on it despite the indifferent reviews the campaign got.

 

Once I've done that I'll be all over multiplayer. The graphics are proper good on it!

Campaign seems ok, I played a few missions. But as soon as you play multiplayer there won't be any going back. It's just so damn awesome.

No. what disk? i got 2 disks with mine 1 multiplayer disk and 1 campaign disk. The game does look like lts lacking detail

You have to install a texture pack to get the hd graphics. Massive difference

I'm the poor bastard who has to play BF3 on a fucking 18" SD TV.It's a miracle I do so well online I can rarely tell the difference between debris and an enemy soldier!

 

Tried to rectify it yesterday but Currys wouldn't give me the credit for a 42" 3D 1080p tv, the complete cunts.

After buying it yesterday about 6pm I've just clocked it, bit disappointed with the campaign length but I prefer the expansive assaults to the likes of COD 'scripted' battles

The online gameplay is epic, the way entire buildings can be brought down with people inside/on top is great. I haven't played tge latest COD but for me this pisses all over previous ones. Caters for both running/gunning and a stealthy/sniper style game

Personally I don't like the feel to this. It feels like im walking in jelly when im moving. But I've only played about ten mins this far.
