I'm a huge Lord of the Rings fan, both book and film, but there is just a nagging concern about that trailer that I can't put my finger on. I have a feeling I will be disappointed.

I booked tickets for Friday night at the IMAX here, only to remember I'm on my work Christmas do. As the missus is on hers Saturday I've got to wait until Sunday. Two days after release!

Watched it in a crappy cinema in france, I can't wait to get home and watch it at Imax and without subtitles.

Just been to see it, and absolutely loved it. The riddles in the dark sequence was just superb, I actually got goosebumps a couple of times from Gollum stealing the show again. Can't wait to watch it again.
