I'll be getting this when I get paid I think, never played any of the assasins creed games before as I got distracted big time by mw2 when I got my ps3 a couple of months ago.

 

Agree on the advert music, much better when they had massive attack for the early versions.

Loved this. I'm done with the main quest but doing side quests now. Then I'll venture into multiplayer.

Do those that have had a real go AC2, do you think that AC Brotherood could be played in the campaign mode, without having played the prequels?

 

I ask because I didn't get on with the first AC, and have only played the first few missions on AC2.

 

My unerstanding of AC Brotherhood was that the focus was on multiplayer with a supposed mini single player campaign. However, the more I read about the game, both on here and elsewhere, the campaign in Brotherhood is just as impressive as in AC2, but the game has the added bonus of online multiplayer, something this gaming franchish would appear to be experimenting with in Brotherhood, in my opinion at least. The proof will be in the pudding if they ever release AC3. (Sorry, when they do release AC3, or AC Brotherhood 2 with online subscritption.....).

Completed it a few days ago, pretty much the exact same as AC II, no real improvements (apart from the Assassins you can control) I like it, very good game.

There's a deal where you subscribe to fhm for £30 and get it free, apparently there's ways it can go wrong and tyou recieve a different game but that's not common place, still worth a punt I reckon.

Love the way you can go back and complete any memory afterwards.

 

Going through and killing all the Borgia heads and burning all the towers to set up the shops.

 

This game is a lot tougher than AC2.

But then you'd be stuck with 12 issues of FHM. Not sure it's really worth it.

^I took that deal up, received my FHM the other day and it is complete shite.

 

Would rather have forked out teh extra few quid for AC and not have FHM then receiving FHM.

Game of the year for me. When I started playing this, I'll be honest, was very disappointed after AC2, but this has grown on me big time.

 

It's just a sensational game.

AC1 was fantastic, AC2 was excellent especially with the puzzles but AC3, well i'm not really sure what superlatives there are to do this game justice.

 

I haven't even played it on-line yet. Certainly a contender for game of the year...

I'm really enjoying the online part of this game. The decision on how often to break cover and make it obvious that you aren't AI is a really interesting twist on online play. It's beyond me how anyone would manage to get the achievement of killing someone from a haybail though, that must be fucking hard work; you have to just hope the pass you.
