Oh, and Paulie, it's easy to tell someone that what they've said is ludicrous, but not so easy to counter it with an argument. I'd imagine it's less easy for someone who can't spell (or google the spelling) for his own username. Nice going, Preppy.

 

It is easy to counter it, I just wasn't at 2am last night when I was pissed.

 

IMO, all the Stiller / Vaughen / Farrell / Wilson / Carrell etc films vary in degrees of humour but on the whole, I don't find them any more than midly amusing.

 

I can't really say I've seen a film which is particually bad, but I can't say I've seen one which I've found hilarious. I'm apathetic to them all.

 

They all have decent set pieces in and a few good one liners but they have more jokes that don't hit the mark.

 

Therefore, I do not believe we are in a 'golden age' of comedy. I haven't seen a film with any of the above colaberators in which has been close to being as funny as say, Aeroplane, Animal House or Blazing Saddles.

 

As for my username, I believe I've already covered that in my signiture. Compelete school boy error for which I have no comeback.
