Just been on a college break and seen that FM 08 is on the shelves at HMV being sold, gonna buy it on my dinner break.

I pre-ordered mine online to recieve it on launch day and got it for £15.99. Good times.

 

There's a postal strike and it will take a couple of weeks to arrive. Bad times.

My CD Rom drive has packed up, cannot play it until it gets fixed. I suspect foul play as my in-laws are coming to stay for a week and my missus wants me to be socialable with them and not be upstairs playing FM 08.

I played the demo for a while, first game Carra got sent off causing Hoops to start to dislike him then he broke his leg against the Mancs to whom I lost 5-1. I intend to cheat with the full game to avoid heartbreak.

Played it before, it's effin class. The layout and background really takes some getting used to though IMO.

Never quite understood the interest in it. Maybe I haven't the patience or the time. I did however enjoy Football Manager on the spectrum where you could buy Steve Foster for 500,000. It was, however, a taped version and so it was always me beginning with Liverpool (which wasnt a bad thing).

 

 

In the days when Chelsea were in their rightful place and the goalkeepers has their work cut out with the slightly bigger goals. I blame Sepp Blatter.

When you put the disk in, doesn't it go straight onto the install screen?
