Good game. Quansah looking pretty good, Doak struggled a bit, but Elliott ran the show. He and Jones were excellent.

Special mention for Endo too. Put in some solid tackles and as the game wore on found more rhythm.

Yeah Doak looks very raw in both the games he's started this season. He's only 17 so it's understandable!

He might need to follow the Elliott and Quansah route of going out on loan I think to get a run of games at a lower level.

The old "Jota's shite" reverse psychology working its usual magic. No need to thank me lads.

Nah, you are just a bit clueless.

Jota assist or scores every 119h minute when he is on the pitch, he’s excellent.

Plenty to be happy about, win without any injuries. Szoboszlai being a sexy bastard as usual. Gravenberch looks like he'll become very useful, reminds me of Gini, decent engine and comfortable in tight spaces with a few men on him, things like that are critical to us being able to open games up, if he's got 3 men directly trying to get the ball off him then there's only 8 men covering the entire rest of the pitch, a couple of smooth turns and a neat pass and we're away.

Endo has announced himself and shown some of what he has to offer us going forward.

Important getting some of the lesser used players working together a bit, there was quite a few times where a through ball was played and nobody made a run, or a pass was played directly to a player who has already given it the toes and sprinted 10 yards ahead of where the where ball is being passed to. Chemistry like that only improves with time on the pitch so it's some small steps in the right direction.
