I got chatGPT to have a go yesterday. Wasn’t great. It tried efforts which it said were to the tune of Hey Jude, Sweet Caroline, and finally Livin on a Prayer but I couldn’t see how any fit to any of the tunes. I’ve decided I’ll sing along to whatever it is that the lids come up with in the end.

Don’t mind that American Pie one, as long as we don’t sing it slowly like in the video. Too many lads think they can sing when they can’t.

I think, more seriously, there’s too much effort to make it a “good song” that’s used as the base.

think of the Torres song. Probably the best song we’ve have this century, but it’s based on a kids church song or nursery rhyme isn’t it?

Nah, you've got to stick with the classics.

That's why I'm currently trying to find a way of using Szoboslai in the mighty Charles and Eddie's 'Would I lie to you?'

Looks into Mo's eyes, then spreads the ball out wide.

Szoboszlai baby, Szoboszlai, oh yeah.

Darwin knows it's true, Dom plays the ball through.

Szoboszlai baby, Szoboszlai, oh yeah.

With a strong tail win, you can fit Dominik Szoboszlai into Old Mcdonald had a farm...

Dominic Szoboszlai, came from Hungary

He came to wear the number 8, for the mighty LFC

With a quak quak here, a quak quak there, here a quak, there a quak, everywhere quak quak...etc etc

Whoa-oh-oh Dom Szoboslai

to sweet child of mine. Works. Just needs more about Hungary, 8 and positional play.

He's got a shot that it seems to me

Reminds of Stevie G

Where every pass is as sharp as a tap and die

Now we're in the title race

Even more handsome than Jimmy Case

Makes opponents break down and cry

Yes, on reflection it's just the American Pie melody that I like.

'Like the good old days, when Bill Shankly was alive' may be the worst line since 'built a team like Shankly did and kids will have a story'. Particularly when he died before these lads were born.
