Some baffling decisions and play. 
 

The failure to show some balls and do something that even slightly resembles defending at set pieces is criminal. Not a single player willing to take the responsibility of sorting it out. They’re all looking at each asking what’s happening but doing fuck all to stop it happening again. 
 

The Harvey Elliott step over the ball in the build up to the second is ridiculous. Try that 40 yards further up the pitch in a game or period of the game when we’re not under the cosh. It simply invite pressure on us. As did the Tsimikas ball across his own box to TAA. And a few other passes were ridiculous too. 
 

Micah Richards has just preempted my next point. The high line. It’s getting exploited constantly. It’s on Klopp to see that and do something about it. Get them to drop a bit. Even for 5 minutes or so to just see out the half. 
 

We started brightly when the 3 forwards were close to each other. But, Salah has drifted out wide and been no threat because of that and a poor performance too. 
 

And, the missed chances too. The Núñez one is decent defending. But, he could do better still. The missed chances from him are costing us now. Tsimikas missed a few decent chances too. 
 

Brentford have wanted it more too. Carragher seems right. And he’ll see it through his own experience - we’re a leggy, knackered team now who can’t compete on a physical level with teams who have a proper go at us.

It'd help the score and give us more of a chance, if the strikers were converting even a fraction of the chances they were getting it would relive the pressure throughout the team.

 

This is a collective team issue as none of the departments are performing with the exception of the goalkeepers.

There just doesn't seem to be any running left in the team anymore. Everything is played at a walking pace, especially in midfield, and they then struggle when the opposition run at them with pace. Last year, Frank doubled up on our full backs, so it didn't take a genius to figure out that he might do it again - playing a back 5 would have been the pragmatic thing to do to nulify their main threat.
