Milan are top of Serie A, is that being in a sad state? If so I guess the whole Italian league is in a sad state. 
 

Of course there are other factors than money, definately in single games or, like in our case, a team can di well because they’re doing the right things with less money.

 

But the reason the PL is miles better than Serie A at the moment is money, simple as that. Which is also the main reason we can field a second string team and steamroll the Italian league leaders at their own place.
