GF Car Buying Advice Required

Put our 2011  206 through its MOT and got an advisory about the clutch. Just had it serviced and clutch aside it's in decent shape. However they were clear the clutch is going to go imminently.  

 

Any mechanics on here can let me know what I'm looking at price wise here?

Yes mate. I think you are right given your car. My car was fairly new at the time and had a value around the 2k mark at the time therefore was worth it for us.

See I disagree on that. I have a battered old yaris but it's reliable. It needed a new clutch which was about 350. It's probably worth a grand. But that said I think if you can only spend 1500 quid on a car it's 50/50 if its an old banger.

I'd say it's worth replacing if you think the cars got more years in it when it's done. You know the history of the car and if its been well maintained, should be OK.
