Bought one a while but haven't played it for months. I think the latest games need an update or something, but I haven't a fucking bulls about going about it. I'd rather not have to give a fella €50 or whatever to update it if I could do it myself.

 

Dunno might PM be better?

Is it not a case of patching the iso then before sticking it on disc.

 

I know there was a program a.b.g.xbxo360 or something it was called which patched the games.

 

If your needing to update the jtag then your going to need to open up the xbox and connect it to your pc via sata.

 

Have a look around that forum i linked above and you will find some guides on how to do it.

Turned it on for the first time in months last night, and got an E74 error! so gotta get that sorted before I go any further.

Will defo have a look at xbox-scene. If it's a case that it's only the iso's need to be patched, it'd be great.

Really inexperienced with all of this (dont have the first clue).

 

Quick question - would people say it was worth it to buy a new XBox 360 and get it modded/flashed? How long does it take to have flashed?

 

I rarely buy games for my PS3 anymore, plus I would love to have the Sky Go app that comes with the Xbox. Don't give much of a shit about playing online, except maybe FIFA.

 

I'd really appreciate some advise as I want to buy this within the next week.
