Today's site problems...

Don't know what caused it yet, but the server went mental last night during the City game. It wasn't Coates playing well, or Lucas scoring the winning pen, or even City getting a helping hand from a friendly liner again (I think we all expected that).

 

Usually Barry Wom helps me fix things but he was unavailable so I was pretty much on my own, which is why it took so long to fix.

 

I'm not sure we're out of the woods yet, as I don't know what caused it and the webhosts (1and1 internet) refused to even look into it, the shower of twats. There's no way I'm staying with them after this, their customer service is the worst I've ever come across and therefore I'm going to be looking to move servers as soon as possible.

 

Hopefully it will stay up and running until I have to take it down for the move to the new server.

 

Also, for some reason while the site was offline it was sending out all kind of random email notifications. That's something else that I need to get to the bottom of. So if you received a Happy Birthday message and it's not your birthday, sorry about that!

 

The shop is still broken by the way, but I'll fix that asap so the thousands of you who have been desperately wanting to buy my book, We Go Again, today, you'll be able to do so tomorrow so fear not. 

 

Apologies if you've had to do some work or spend time with the spouse and kids while TLW was down, but whatever you were doing it will have been more fun than the horrendous day I've had. My favourite fish died today too, six years I've had him. Had to bury him in the garden, just hope the cat doesn't dig him up.

 

Anyway, sorry about the inconvenience and fingers crossed the site doesn't go the same way as my poor old Golden Orfe, Henchoz.
