i've suffered from hayfever since i was eight, and to show how long ago that was my first bad hayfever day was when bryan robson scored after 23 seconds in spain

i use certizine/zirtek (same drug different manufacturers) and if that doesnt work then piriton, although they knocks me like a anti-depressant

there are also sodium cromoglite eye drops and fluxonaise spray

i've found putting vaseline around my nasal passage lessens the effects and when i'm having a sneezing fit i shove my face into a basin of cold water and somtimes snort the water (drastic but it rinses the nose out)

my all time favourite is getting pissed on cider, dont know why but i feel a hell of a lot better after drinking the stuff (doesnt work with beer though)

My old man's hayfever has been completely cured by cutting out dairy from his diet.

The more I read and hear about it the more I begin to think that drinking stuff made to make baby cow's grow may not be a good idea.

The pills conk me out, even the supposed 'non drowsy' ones. I bought a nasal spray, Becanaise, and it's sorted me right out. It's meant to contain some steroid which builds up your resistance to it the more you use the spray.

I used to as a kid, but don't really anymore. I seem to have minimised my cat allergy too. I'm like wolverine to allergies.

Can it actually give you flu like symptoms, as in the aching and that, or are people just being nudgers?
