@Ne Moe Imya If McConnell thinks it will cost them a majority in the Senate they will flush Trump faster than he has let Giulani spin down the drain.

And so it begins:

Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell is suggesting Trump should shorten his White House briefings.

Asked by the Washington Post whether the White House should shorten the briefings, the Republican Senate leader said that was “probably a good idea.”

Senate majority whip John Thune similarly said the briefings should focus on exerpertise from public health officials like Dr Anthony Fauci.

“I would say for any politician that you know, on a subject like this, you definitely want to give the experts the microphone and the platform as much as possible,” Thune said.

Isn't that what they are doing anyway? After all, nobody knows more about any given topic than Donald Trump.

Mike Pence on why he was the only person in the entire Mayo clinic not wearing a mask:

“As vice president of the United States, I’m tested for the coronavirus on a regular basis, and everyone who is around me is tested for the coronavirus.”

“And since I don’t have the coronavirus, I thought it’d be a good opportunity for me to be here, to be able to speak to these researchers, these incredible healthcare personnel and look them in the eye and say thank you.”

Apparently Mike didn't realize that their eyes would not have been covered by his mask.
