I think people have just had their fill of him now, he does the same thing on every show. As I said he's a decent actor, but he doesn't seem to act anymore. If he considers himself a good comedy writer why doesn't he go and write something. One thing he definitely isn't, is a comedian.

 

That said, maybe he's making his money now and enjoying his time in the sun, best of luck to him. But that'll only last so long. He once held his own in a Mike Leigh film, will he be able to go back to being a reasonably respected actor again? I doubt it.

I've never watched an episode of Gavin and Stacey, just doesn't catch me as being from the same ilk as Father Ted, League of Gentlemen, Bottom or Rising Damp. Not my cup of tea and that.

 

That Corden fella off it though hes everywhere at the moment. Hes being forced upon us whether we like it or not and I dont like it, I think the mans a fucking belter of the highest order. A poor mans Ricky Gervais.

 

I remember Fitzmaurice on City Talk a year or 2 ago saying "Hes not funny, hes a thespian who relies on a scriptwriter."

 

If the way this idiot goes about is a scriptwriters work I'd sack that twat aswell.

It's a myth about fat people being jolly and fun loving. I'm a bit lardy these days and I'm a right miserable fucker. Watching James Corden just makes me more unhappy. He's so ubiquitous right now that I can see his overworked ticker giving out on him. That's a show I'd watch, though.

I've never watched more than a preview of Gavin & Stacey as I thought it looked fucking terrible so all I've seen of Corden is him being a loudmouthed fat slob on any and every tv show that'll have him. It's all about opinions of course but personally I'd never get bored of stamping on his fat stupid fucking face.
