Bollocks, hes a born winner. He can see he was onside what you expect him to do just walk away and do fuck all.

Bellamy is a menace and he must be a nightmare for opposition defences to play against.

I thought that Bellamy and Kuyt combined well.

As far as I could tell, the linesmen were correct every time they flagged Bellamy for offside.

Whatever happened to the ruling that there had to be daylight between the striker and the last man for it to be offside. For most of the decisions that was far from the case. :wallbutt:

With Bellamy's pace I don't think he has to cut it quite so fine.

Spot on - I missed the Charity Shield and Haifa games as I was on holiday. First time I've seen Bellamy live for us was today. I thought his work rate was outstanding and his willingness to work for the team was fantastic. He must be a nightnmare to play against, apart from all the verbals he dishes out he didn't give their defenders a minute's peace. Kuyt looked very lively as well. These two together could be something.

That`s never been the rule. I remember Ged at the start of some season in an interview saying the rule had been changed when it hadn`t.

Agree Bellamy's got to reduce the whingeing - get sick of the sight of his face at times. On the other hand he's a fucking excellent team player - always ready to go for the stepover or set a teammate up.

His finish for the disallowed goal was top drawer.

That is Bellamy, he probably has been whinging since primary school. I am sure he couldn't stop if he wished. With the whinging we got a lot of running, closing down of defenders, getting into good positions, the ball didn't always follow, for that I am happy

I disagree. We need someone with that spite or venom. I loved it.

I agree to an extent but there was one move, down the right in the second half I think, if he'd not been moaning he could maybe have kept the move going. He needs to keep his aggression but I think he needs to channel it correctly in order to make use of it.

I agree to an extent but I just love his vocal presence on the pitch. The guy just wants to win and doesn't give a shit about talking back. In the bigger games he'll need to concentrate on the game and give the verbal jousting a back seat.

i love his presence too... he's different to what we've had in the past. our players previously have been quiet in comparison to bellamy. all signs so far look good...
