Can't believe the wrongness on this thread about Kasabian, Col and Truered apart.

 

All 3 albums shit all over anything Oasis have spewed out since Morning Glory, with both Tom and Serge showing themselves to be far more accomplished vocalists than Liam and Noel. Anyone else going to see them at the Echo Arena on the 16th? Really looking forward to it.

Serge is their chief songwriter and guitarist and plays second fiddle when it comes to singing but he's an excellent vocalist in is own write.

I've never really been a massive fan of theirs but the new album is pretty decent. The opening track is a corker and they do meoldic hooks as well as pretty much any other guitar band about.

They put on a great live show Stu, I've witnessed them at festivals and they've had the whole crowd bouncing especially for Empire the track.

PWEI's main man, Clint Mansell, is now a respected award winning soundtrack composer, for such films as Moon and The Wrestler. Weird.

 

Kasabian are still average though.
