Songs, movies and shit that's guaranteed to make you cry

Film - The Champ.

The bit where the lad is desperately trying to wake his Dad when he's died never fails.

Song - The Bangles,  Eternal Flame.

In the charts and never off the radio at the time of The Hillsborough Disaster. I always associate it with that and the aftermath.

Tears are never far away and I wasn't even there.

I hate that song.

Anything to do with cruelty to kids and them being murdered I avoid like the plague because that kicks me off.

More than a few occasions involving the unmentionable.

I'm a bit of a wuss really.

Lana Del Ray's version of YNWA was on the radio the day after my daughter was born and now I can't hear it without sobbing.

That, and the end of LotR when Frodo gets on the boat. Fuck off, you're crying.

Film- The Notebook

Cheers mate.

For me any youtube clip where long lost siblings/family members are reunited. I might not even like them but it still gets me. Soft as shit in my old age.

Opening 10 minutes of Up. Gets me every time. The kids laugh at me.

I remember reading a review at the time, saying they didn't really think it through, because the film got a high-profile 3-D release but everyone's specs were knackered from the start.

I've never cried watching a film or listening to music, I surely can't be the only one.

Same, Marley and Me nearly got me, had never owned a dog at that stage so I reckon it could get me now. No song has ever even come close to setting me off.
