It does and doesn't help us, less games for City/Arsenal but does mean the Premier League are almost certain to not get the 5th CL spot, means Spurs can't be on the beach knowing they'll have their CL spot no matter what, unfortunately does also mean Villa have something to play for as well.

If we were top of the league I could see the logic in wanting  Abu Dhabi going on, but we aren't winning 6 with them dropping points into the bargain.

I know it's hoping against hope where those cheats are concerned but City haven't looked as confident this season, a bit more vulnerable than in previous years. So I'm hoping this just puts a bit of extra doubt in their minds that they may not be what they once were. Maybe.
