Harvey Owen to save Liverpool millions

Liverpool will not look to sign Gvardiol as they see Owens and the player to eventually replace van Dijk at the left ce tre back spot

*Checks notes

Harvey was a part of that journey and the boys really took to him as a younger player. “He's a right-footed player who likes to play on the left side at the back – whether that's in a back three or a back four

He'll fucking play where his mam tells him to play.

Anyone that watched Maddison tonight and ever mentions his name in association with us should hang up their TLW membership. He's a fraud of a player, slower than Tielemans, I'd keep Arthur before taking him.

If they can go out and spend what it takes to land these 2, then where the fuck is the money we bring in after years of success going.

They'll probably sell a few to partly fund it. Word is that Smith-Rowe, Tierney and the few they have out on loan like Pepe, Balagoun, Lokonga will be sold. They might still spend £100m net though.

If you’d have clicked on the part that says SHOW MORE, then you’d have seen the link to the original story in The Times.

Hope this helps.

Fsg don't want to eat into their profits when the sell us. We will still probably have enough to regulary get in the Champions League over the next few years and that's enough for them.

Get Smith-Rowe, that kid is the closest the league has to a Gerrard clone in waiting.

I'd take a chance on Dominik Szoboszlai if they were looking for a false 9, serious injury held him back but he's fit again now.

Would take even more of a chance on him now, though as an alternative to Mount (and part time forward) rather than false 9.

I think Brentfod have divided the asking price by two. It was payment in two instalments.

Exactly. If he's available at that price most of the clubs in the top flight should be in for him.

Probably hard to put a price on a goalkeeper who hasn't played a large number of games, but he's been brilliant in a small sample size.

Of course, the big challenge for him at a club like Brentford would be how his confidence fares when the goals start going in past him, as they will quite regularly regardless of how he's playing.

Saw a link to Brighton yesterday. Would be a great move for him and them. I'd still keep him, but maybe they can agree some buy-back deal.

He reminds of a young De Bruyne sometimes. Less good obviously, but in playstyle and has the same solid frame.

As good as he's been he's only played 21 games and only 4 in the league.

If we can't even get £15 million for him then it makes zero sense to actually sell him. Loan him out next season and see how he gets on.
