Fair play to Moyes, West Ham have been a decent watch lately and you’re guaranteed goals

West Ham’s last 4 games:

West Ham 3-3 Arsenal

Wolves 2-3 West Ham

West Ham 3-2 Leicester

Newcastle 3-2 West Ham

4th spot still qualifies for the CL if arsenal did win it. If chelsea win the CL but finish outside the top 4 and arsenal won the EL then I think 4th spot is bumped down to next season's EL.

This. We basically need Rodgers to shit his knickers same as last season. Reasonable chance of that happening given they still have united spurs and Chelsea to play.

That result is just going to make our weak capitulation to Leeds on Monday night all the more frustrating.

Always liked Willock as a player. Nowhere near good enough for us but he's got something about him.

I left the house and took the dog out at half time. Couldn’t believe it when I saw it was 2-2.

Hopefully WHU take some confidence from that ahead of their game next week v Chelsea.

If we beat Leeds and Newcastle, we’ll be 4th come their kick off next weekend. We could even go 3rd.

What we wanting for the FA Cup semis?

Personally, I’m hoping for a Chelsea win tonight, put Citeh’s quadruple bubble and to give Citeh extra incentive when they play in the league next month.

Southampton win tomorrow to send Leicester into free fall.

Normally you couldn't pay me to watch either of those cunts play but I'll be watching hoping Chelsea hand city's arses to them.

Hate saying it because I despise them far more than City but Chelsea to win hopefully. I also hope Leicester beat the scummers because they will still have something else to play for other than 4th.

Mind you, anything City win means fuck all anyway because they've cheated their way to it.

Just the 8 changes for City today.

Starting back 4 cost 230m. Another £140m of defenders on the bench. Not buying success, honestly, guv

Chelsea have had a lot of joy down the years when they've sacked a manager mid-season. Vialli, Hiddink, Di Matteo and Benitez have all won trophies with them. Gullit did so as a player-manager too. They actually have a chance of winning the same two trophies they did when Di Matteo came in. Whatever they're up against this time round, Tuchel is a better coach than that Thunderbirds-looking spawn merchant.

The genius of Pep will see them through this tough schedule.

Let's hope they come unstuck in the CL again.

2021/22 season news strictly speaking, Hansi Flick announces he will be leaving Bayern manager's role.

Only four posts too late. Slow arse...

    • One impending problem I suspect we may have with FSG is they were ahead of the curve on data analytics in English football, especially in relation to transfers. The mitigation it’s provided to our lower level of expenditure compared with the handful of teams we’re trying to compete with for trophies might well decline, as other clubs gradually improve on that front too.
Bit like how Wenger had an initial period where his nutritional set-up was hugely advanced compared to the rest of English football and provided them some salad years - Toby Maguire gif - but eventually it just became the overall culture, so his advantages in that area became watered down.
All very well being the smartest men in the room, but other rich men will soon copy/harvest bits from your model if it’s showing signs of success. The profile of player United are signing now versus in the early years post-Taggart being a case in point, managerial titan though Rice Krispy undoubtedly is.

    • Liverpool have been doing pretty much this since Klopp arrived bar his fourth season, no?   First (proper) season: Mane, Gini, Matip Second season: Virgil, Salah, Robbo Third season: Keita, Fabinho, Alisson Fourth season: shite Fifth season: Jota, Thiago Sixth season: Konate, ??
    • Spot on. Maybe if you're young it seems like a new phrase. For those of us old enough to remember our period of dominance, it was as very familiar phrase. Then we went on to watch the team from Salford do the same. No players in the window after winning the European cup - while selling a keeper and replacing him with a freebie. Just a throw away cheap exit clauses flipper the next window. Then 3 players the following window, but only after letting primary targets go. The window after that when we literally had no centre backs, was a lad signed to be flipped who'd never played and another lad we never wanted but at least he cost us fuck all. We are buying like a team in survival mode.
