Has anyone done a DIY course?

I did a 1 day course on electrics and have been rewiring houses, doing electrics in bathrooms etc ever since. Great value for money.

Things sure have changed from the days when you were transforming knackered old tractors into Panzer tanks.

Not to disrespect a professional, but tiling is pretty straightforward. As others have said, youtube and DIY stores have websites which have some very good videos on how to do most things.

The grouting is the messy job and goes against your logic- you spend a day carefully fixing a wall of tiles, checking they are level and spaced etc. They look really neat and your well chuffed- the next day you absolutely cake them in grout making them look a right bloody mess until you wipe them down
