Going as I thought this.

 

Long way to go yet mate, but certainly a slow and hard scoring wicket. Even a 50 lead would be good for Eng, of course, could be more. You wouldn't want to be chasing on this strip to try and save the game.

It's just that I knew when the Aussies were chatting shit before the game it was a smokesceeen for their lack of confidence.

The pitch wasn't going to change mate, strange wicket for the Gabba, looked under prepared at the beginning. Have they had more rain than normal in Brisbane leading up to this test mate?

Dunno, I only ever pay attention to Melbourne weather really.

It just looked high, surprised that Root went for it on the back of Broad getting excited.
