'The Black Album' in its entirety. Live!

Anybody on here other than me who are thrilled about this?

 

Got my tickets yesterday at Valle Hovin(Norway) on the 23th of may 2012. Since I'm an old metal fan I can't wait for this.

Can't be arsed with the new stuff though, beeing very much into electronic/house since 97.

But in the early 90's it was only metal. Loads of gigs: Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Sepultura, Carcass, Type O Negative, Paradise Lost, Machine Head, Beastie Boys, Biohazard, Primus, etc etc..

 

The first time I saw Metallica live was at Oslo Spectrum early 92, just after The Black Album was released. I was 15 years old and got to meet the whole band at their hotel. Still got my silly photos with the band and signed cd's/lp's.

 

Can't wait.

Just make sure you listen to them in order. They don't have a problem with you listening to it illegally, it's just the downloading of individual songs out of context.

They are only playing Download here at the moment and I'm not going.

 

Personally, as a massive Metallica fan, The Black Album is nowhere near my favourite album. If I was was to rank them, it would be mid-table.

I was hoping this would be "the" Black Album which was of course done by Prince.

If they'd play And Justice for All in its entirety, that would be much better.

Black album is way over-rated.
