Shit! It appears it wasn't just the blues being violent last night. This happened too. Definitely happened. Isn't made up. At all.

"Share: Liverpool fan parked in front of an Everton bus last night the fella said I'm sick of you blue shite and refused to move his car. People got off the bus asked him to move then he called his mates, within minutes a gang turned up with crowbars, a pickaxe and bricks putting the bus windows threw. Bare in mind the bus had a lot of kids on, the bus drove off at speed then got caught in traffic they ran after it and started attacking the windows again. A few people on the bus forced them selves threw the doors and ran at them. The gang of idiots then ran, then the police turned up.

Ashamed of nothing, offended by everything. SCUM"

He remembers it perfectly, and he has a photographic memory.

It is common knowledge that Clattenberg is a Liverpool fan and often socialises with their players and staff.

'Common knowledge' = made up bollocks by a blueshite cabbie.

...he blatantly refused to send him off for simulation when he dived to the ground for no reason (other than to cheat) on FOUR not one but FOUR separate occasions.

Not only is this guy frothing at the mouth, but he's making up numbers too having evidently not done any research. Nil Stattos Nisi Optimum.

Evertonians don't deal in facts they just do rumours and let blind hatred stop them making any logical or rational decisions

This is absolute comedy gold:

As an honest & objective football supporter I have no confidence in the integrity of Mark Clattenberg and believe that this appointment has been made to hinder Everton's Champion's League qualification much in the same way Mr Collina did in 2005.

That is fucking sensational.

Brilliant.

As somebody pointed out, not only Is 'Clatters' a Newcastle fan, but in the five games he has refereed tham since he started doing Everton games again, he has not given a single contentious decision that has affected the game.

Oh, and for the benefit of Toffeeweb, the reason Suarez was not sent off for his alleged dive after being tackled by Demechelis was adequately dealt with on MotD.  There was contact. And as I beleive was posted elsewhere, the guidance states that even if the fall is theatrical, if there is contact the refree should not show a yellow card.

Roberto Martinez expects David Moyes will get good reception

Everton boss Roberto Martinez expects predecessor David Moyes to be given a warm welcome when Manchester United visit Goodison Park on Sunday.

Martinez, 40, succeeded Moyes when the 50-year-old Scot left the Toffees last summer to replace the retiring Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford.

And the Spaniard says Everton fans should recognise Moyes's achievements in his 11 years at the club.

"His job at Everton deserves that - his work has been terrific," Martinez said.

A tearful Moyes, who led the Toffees to eight top-eight finishes in his 10 full seasons in charge, was given a standing ovation after his final match at Goodison last May.

He returned to his former club on transfer deadline day to sign midfielder Marouane Fellaini, who - along with Leighton Baines - had previously been part of a joint bid from United that Toffees director of communications Alan Myers described as "derisory and insulting".

And Moyes was given a hostile reception by the visiting fans during the Premier League match between the sides at Old Trafford in December, which Everton won 1-0.

But Martinez believes the Goodison Park crowd will want to thank the Glaswegian when he makes his first return as United manager.

"We are a club full of integrity and style, we are a proper football club, so we will show the respect to David Moyes and what he's done at our football club," said Martinez.

"We all know he's the Manchester United manager now and I'm sure that reception will be very much different, but every Evertonian has got great memories of the job that he did."

Everton go into Sunday's game after their Champions League hopes suffered a setback with a 3-2 defeat by Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

The Toffees are fifth in the Premier League, one point behind fourth-placed Arsenal with four games to play.

Victory over seventh-placed United would ensure a first league double over the Red Devils since the 1969-70 season.

I like this one even better:

Firstly he gave 3 penalties to RS, and whilst probably correctly, do you really think he would have awarded all 3, all 3 to any other Premier League team in the same match in the same circumstances? I believe not.

So his complaint that proves Clattenburg's supposed bias is ... that he gave us penalties correctly?  As in, the rules say he should award a penalty, so he did, and that means he's biased?

The mind struggles to comprehend the depths of the idiocy of this person.

This'll go down well across the park:

“The politics of Liverpool was really sort of anti-Thatcher. It’s become the PEOPLE'S CLUB. Those hardworking blue-collar values never really left, even though it’s been ushered into the modern era of the club being a global franchise.”
