*Shakes head* Everton again.

I assume Everton fans will be storming the EFL in support of the corruption taking place here?

Reading deducted two more points over unpaid HMRC bill - BBC Sport

"Reading have had two more points docked, their second deduction of the season, by the English Football League.

The League One side have had a further two-point penalty suspended after failing to pay dues to HMRC within an 80-day limit imposed by the EFL.

The club previously had four points deducted for their failure to pay wages on several occasions the previous year"

It’s a bit mad but the Brazilians were/are linked to the Universal church which in turn has been part of the Bolsonaro right. Fabinho’s missus deffo was putting stuff up in support of him, don’t know about the players.

Doesn't Alisson support a right wing plonker in Brazil? Fabinho when he was here too? I seem to remember other posters discussing it a while back. No idea of the names of the Brazilian political loons though.

Tsk. Someone ought to spank her bot-bot for that... and if nobody else will do it, I'm prepared to do what's right.

Alisson supported him as a fair few of the big current squad do. The older players from the 90s don't. As someone said at the time the current players live in a bubble and many don't live in Brazil so are far removed from the shit he did. They made it have money and want security from crime and kidnappers and have that American attitude of "I made it, fuck anyone that didn't"

Poor Bobby thought he was there for his Life saving level 2 badge, and turned up in his pyjamas with a rubber brick to throw in the 6 foot end.

Decent read for a Wednesday morning, hope he's right.

  • I honestly think 777 will be rejected and

we'll end up in administration, or damn close, until a last second buyer comes in, ala what happened to the red shite.
    777 dont take over then
    We'll have
200 mil debt to rights and media
    180 mil to 777
100 mil (maybe a bit more) to MSP
so anyone wanting to buy is going to need a lot of money
Even if Moshiri said he'd take 200mil to bugger off, you are looking at 700mil+. Without mentioning stadium or other stuff

It would be pretty funny if they ended up in administration because they spent on Lyle Lanleys M̶o̶n̶o̶r̶a̶i̶l̶ Stadium and 777 take the stadium as they can't pay them back. It would remind me of a idiot I worked with who had a 5 year old escort, swapped it for a piece of shit BMW and 5 grand later had a 15 year old escort that needed a new clutch

It wouldn't exactly be "a la what happened to the red shite", when NESV took over a team in the top third of the league, with a perfectly serviceable stadium, a global fanbase, a few top players, a recent history of winning trophies and "just" a few hundred million in debt.

mad we spent 60m on a “proposed” stadium and didn’t even get a spade in the ground to show for it.

It's par for the course in this city, where "developers" have spent decades getting rich on nothing except "artist's impressions".

What's the advantage to buying Everton now then, they can't be cheap and you'd be buying into a league with shit loads of insanely rich clubs/owners to compete with most of whom have a giant head start.

Best half-finished stadium in the world!

Took a look this morning and a few of them are complaining that they might be charged twice in a season despite the accounts being an annual thing. They don't know...

Those six points should have been LAST season! You should have gone down. Other clubs have suffered because you've been given a reprieve no one else can expect.
