The League One side have had a further two-point penalty suspended after failing to pay dues to HMRC within an 80-day limit imposed by the EFL.

The club previously had four points deducted for their failure to pay wages on several occasions the previous year"

What a lot of them don't realise is if/when they eventually go down, the EFL have far stricter rules than the Premier League do and they have penalised lots of clubs for breaking the rules with points deductions.

Alisson supported him as a fair few of the big current squad do. The older players from the 90s don't. It wouldn't exactly be "a la what happened to the red shite", when NESV took over a team in the top third of the league, with a perfectly serviceable stadium, a global fanbase, a few top players, a recent history of winning trophies and "just" a few hundred million in debt.
