I think we're mostly weak mentally aside from a few players. Having said that you could argue that constant bullshit with officials and var may have ground them down. We look to have peaked too early. It seems other teams raise their game when they see our intensity has dropped. Some shite teams look like Messi era Barcelona against us, really frustrating.

Wasn't van Dijk gonna expose Hendo as some awful captain all along or something like that?

I was just thinking that he's not turning out to be a great captain, not all his fault but he's as lethargic as the rest.

It's baffling how we've gone so shit.

We've not been great this season, we've been doing enough to win games but we've given away to many chances in all our games sooner or later teams take those chances.

We need to put some bone crunching tackles in.
Sick of us dangling a leg. Palace stronger in the tackle, wanting it more.

Yeah tbh this is the big change I notice when we're shit vs playing well. We don't defend with enough aggression, way too passive and I think it gives the opposition a lift.

Problem is nobody puts their foot on the ball, everyone looks to move it back to front too quickly whether they're shaped to pass, or the intended recipient is shaped to receive it.

move it forward move it fast no matter what.

Quansah ended our season like he ended Matip.

Big mistake, granted but for that to affect the whole team and games after, shows a much bigger problems within the attitude of the squad.

Sick of this side to side passing, we need to go north to south and play it quicker, one touch, more incisive.

aimlessly passing front to back is the last thing we need.
